Welcome to The Staffpoint Mid 2026 Hotfix!

JuneWelcome to Staffpoint’s late-season update.

Please see below for some highlights about what this new update will provide. We’ll be rolling out updates by the end of June 2026 and wanted to give you a preview of what’s going to pop up.

Bug fixes, Improvements, and Optimizations!

We’ve added the following new features:
  • [System] Added file size and file type validation to Staffpoint uploads.
  • [Client/Location Management] Added a tooltip to the “Count all work hours” option.
  • [Reports] Added Assignment tags beside Assignment IDs in custom reports.
  • [Scheduler] Added the “Show terminated series” scheduler filter and corrected filter reset behaviour.
  • [Scheduler] Added separate scheduler filters for individual, recurring, cancelled, and terminated Assignments.
  • [System] Added Newfoundland Time as an option for Preferences and Divisions.
We’ve enhanced the following:
  • [Recurring Assignments] Prevented legacy Assignment Details from being added when recurring series are renewed, cloned, or copied.
  • [Attendance Tracking] Increased the GPS distance limit for Attendance Tracking to 250 metres.
  • [SP Mobile] Improved “Keep me signed in,” mobile session security, navigation, and resource usage.
  • [Event Log] Updated Event Log filters to use each customer’s configured Personnel and Client User labels.
  • [System] Scheduler filters are now saved separately for each Administrator.
  • [Assignment Details] Assignment Details now follow their configured order instead of alphabetical order.
  • [Assignments] Increased the Assignment summary limit from 3 notes to 10 notes.
  • [Reports] Prevented a server error when loading open Assignment reports.
  • [System] Prevented invalid partner callback data from causing server errors.
  • [System] Removed some hard-coded variables from the Staffpoint code to improve security.
We’ve corrected the following problems:
  • [Assignments] Fixed the Shift Details pop-up closing before the Copy Shift action could be selected.
  • [Assignment Details] Prevented confidential Assignment Details from being visible to Personnel.
  • [Notifications] Fixed Assignment notification duration changes under Preferences.
  • [Assignments] Corrected the date displayed in the “Approved on” field.
  • [Personnel Portal] Restored non-availability reason selection in the Personnel Portal.
  • [Event Log] Corrected Assignment creator and “Assigned By” information in the Event Log and reports.
  • [SP Mobile] Fixed a server error shown to some Android app users.
  • [SP Mobile] Restored expired and expiring accreditation messages on iOS.
  • [Personnel] Restored missing location names when adding Personnel exclusions.
  • [Personnel] Fixed the location exclusion list failing to reopen.
  • [Recurring Assignments] Corrected Personnel information and profile links shown in Assignment series.
  • [Attendance Tracking] Restored time editing on the sign-out screen when permitted.
  • [SP Mobile] Restored expired accreditation reminders in the iOS app.
  • [Event Log] Restored bold text in the Event Log.
  • [Assignments] Fixed Assignment billing types not saving when changed.
  • [Administrators] Restored Administrators ability to edit Assignment dates and times.
  • [Assignments] Fixed Assignment Details disappearing from Assignments.
  • [Assignments] Fixed the Send button remaining disabled after creating an Assignment.
  • [Assignments] Fixed the cancellation reason list being cut off.
  • [General] Fixed broken signature, Personnel, accreditation, and preference images.
  • [SP Mobile] Fixed MFA timeout, retry messaging, and blank-screen issues in the mobile app.
  • [System] Corrected timestamps to respect the customer’s configured time zone.
  • [System] Corrected the time zone used for Assignment notes.
  • [Assignment Details] Corrected Public and Internal Assignment Detail visibility.
  • [Assignment Details] Fixed Assignment Detail defaults and ordering.
  • [System] Fixed Quick Assignment, Personnel loading, cancellation display, and notification logging issues.
  • [Notifications] Restored dispatch call status updates in Assignment notification logs.
  • [Recurring Assignments] Fixed recurring series cloning becoming stuck after termination.
We’ve replaced the following:
  • [Personnel Types] Removed incorrect checkmarks and unauthorized controls from Personnel Type Management.
  • [Divisions] Removed an incorrect Division warning when adding a location under a parent Client.
  • [General] Removed entitlement budget information in cases where it should not be visible.
  • [Personnel] Removed deleted qualifications from requirements, exclusions, and Personnel records.
Known issues (non-critical bugs that will be tackled for the next update):
